The Olive Cone Head Rubber Bugger is a more subtle and natural color but the wiggle that is produced by its unique rubber body materials is anything but subtle. This streamer shimmies and shakes as it swims, attracting attention and strikes from waiting predators. Fish it for trout, bass, and virtually anything else that swims.

Leech, Mini, Bead Head, Black-Olive

Leech, Mini, Bead Head, Black-Olive

Your price: $1.65

Leeches are some of the most effective stillwater and streamer patterns available and the Bead Head Olive/Black Mini Leech is a must for your box. These colors blended together are some of the best we have seen to match a Leech and this fly will also imitate insects, sculpin and crayfish. The bead head offers flash which will attract fish and gives the fly a swimming action when you strip the fly. This fly will work for almost any freshwater fish and is hard to beat on waters with multiple food options. Try this fly and the fish will reward you with plenty of aggressive strikes.

Green Drake, Trout Slayer

Green Drake, Trout Slayer

Your price: $1.50

These large insects are "trout candy" on our western streams - Green Drakes are large insects and evidently taste really good to trout. This pattern was custom designed by our RiverBum staff. and is the most effective pattern we have used to date. When Green Drakes hatch in good numbers the trout forget all other foods and target drakes only. In the Pacific Northwest region, look for them toward the end of the giant stonefly hatches; May & June on most rivers, but some spring creeks such as Oregon's Metolius River has strong late summer hatches as well.
