The Black Chironomid Pupa Emerger Fly is an extremely effective stillwater pattern. Fish will often target chironomid pupae as they swim toward the surface to hatch. Chironomids have gas trapped along there abdomen as they begin the emerging process. This pattern perfectly imitates the midges in this stage. Lake fishermen have found this to be one of the most productive patterns for suspending below an indicator or dry fly and it will work in deep water as well. Almost every freshwater fish will feed on chironomids and at times it seems it is the only thing they will eat.

Copper John Nymph, BH, Jumbo, RL, Golden

Copper John Nymph, BH, Jumbo, RL, Golden

Your price: $1.75

The Jumbo Wired Golden Copper John is a heavy nymph that will often get to the bottom without needing extra weight. The curved design makes the fly bounce along the bottom without getting hung and keeps the fish on after it is hooked. This two tone version of the popular Copper John excels in waters with stoneflies and is one of the best golden stone nymphs available. The realistic body along with lifelike rubber legs gives the fly a natural look that fish find irresistible. The Jumbo Copper John is a very productive pattern for Steelhead where traditional nymphing techniques are used.

Chamois Caddis

Chamois Caddis

Your price: $1.25

The Chamois Caddis is a productive pattern on waters with Caddis. This simple pattern imitates an uncased or free swimming caddis larva. Trout, Whitefish, Grayling and most cold water fish find this pattern irresistable. Our local anglers have made it a favorite pattern for nymphing in the winter but the Chamois Caddis is an effective fly all year long.
